Empowerment Sparks Growth and Healing

Welcome! I'm Alma Zangeneh, a Registered Social Service Worker dedicated to empowering individuals and families to heal, grow, and create positive change.

My purpose is to walk with you on your journey toward personal growth and well-being. I will listen without judgment, validate your experiences, and support you to discover your own inner wisdom and strength.

Together we will identify goals, unearth skills and resources, and build self-confidence. I will encourage you to embrace new perspectives while honoring your values.

It is my privilege to create a space where you feel safe, accepted, and capable. I believe you already hold the keys to your own transformation and I'm here to help you find them.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from a variety of counseling techniques to provide the insight, tools, and support you deserve to thrive.

Our Approach

At Sabalan Center, my approach as a Registered Social Service Worker is based on empathy, compassion, and empowering those I walk alongside. I aim to create an open, non-judgemental space for individuals to feel heard, accepted, and comfortable to be their authentic selves.

Rather than telling people what to do, I believe in collaborating with you to uncover your own inner wisdom. My role is to actively listen, ask thoughtful questions, validate your experiences, and support you in identifying your goals, strengths, and challenges.

I draw upon counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to help foster insight and self-awareness. However, I adapt these techniques to meet your unique needs and situation.

My priority is always to empower you and honor your self-determination. I will encourage you to nurture personal growth, seek solutions, and unleash your full potential. I want to inspire hope and self-confidence, not dependence.

If you're searching for a judgment-free space for reflection, growth, and nurturing your inner resilience, I am here. Let's walk this journey together.
